My grandma's car was stolen from the street in front of our house.
She's upset, understandably, and whereas we used to never even lock our front door, we're locking everything now. Still don't understand how this happened-our neighborhood has been improving for the past few years, not declining at all.
No school for me this semester. Not sure how I feel about that, so I'm trying not to think about it. They didn't receive some documents in time and it's a state school so the administration is unhelpful. My solution is to CLEP out of whatever classes I can and get those documents in early so next semester I can get back on track. At this rate I'll be a physician when I'm 50.
Better late than never? I hope.

Don't worry. I'll be 200 years old by the time I finish my Ph.D.

oh, awesome. I adore doctors. my sister's an infectious disease doc, and I've got a couple of friends in various surgical specialties, so I hear a lot of doctor stories and go to a lot of doctor parties. got dangerously drunk with a bunch of docs just saturday night, in fact! anyway, as hard as you guys work, a semester off probably isn't a bad thing at all.
