I wonder if in a few hundred years people will be able to recover CDs. They say the shelf life isn't that long...

Even on my current hard drive I probably have the odd folder that havsn't been accessed since I was a teenager.

The other day I was cleaning out some binders at work, in which we used to store installation media for our old software (required to do so by regulations.) I opened one, and a creaky old 3.5" floppy fell out. It was like finding a dinosaur bone.

I just picked up the Vulgar Boatmen on Rhapsody - which is my electronic music source

sort of like Itunes, but I pay a subscription to get access to all the music in the Rhapsody catalogue to use on three players (two mp3 players and my computer)

I can't burn it to disc and distribute the music - I can only listen, which works out well for me

Yeah, the drumming on The Saints Are Coming in particular is great. I turned up my bass for Into The Valley, but I struggled to make it out, to be honest. I expected better from my speakers, they're normally pretty good. Anyway, thanks for the tips!
