Is sad emo breakup lady today. I can't decide if I'm rational, or sad, or angry. Gah!

Bring on the whiskey and smokes!

I am currently four days into my ten day vacation, the longest amount of time I've had to myself in over a year. I'm currently lazing about until I get bored of lazing about and want to return to work.

Attn all Californians: I am now utilizing my Driver's License, dragging the little brats about, so beware! I sometimes think I should post a warning...

Episode in which Maddigan wanders through life while working A LOT. And rambles on about it.

Times, they are a'changing at work. Many who are nifty and devoted enough know that I work in psychiatric residential care for kids; a group home for some pretty special kids. (I'd really love to post some of the Christmas pictures, as they are adorable, but privacy violations and...

Knitting is an excellent teaching tool.
The Waldorf Schools use it to teach counting, addition/
subtraction to the K through 3 levels.
Chop-sticks can be bought by the dozen quite cheaply
and work until true knitting needles can be lined up.
Maybe in trade for helping out at sheareing time
a sheep or alpaca farm might give up some wool.
The 4-H might be a resource to tap.
Dollar Store or other discounted surplus store might
yield yarn or other fibers to use.
Good luck.

sweet news maddi glad your new home is a homesmile

Fair warning, somewhat emo post.

I'm actually finding myself fairly sad that I only received one present this Christmas, instead of, really, the expression of excitement I had posted before. Maybe it's spurred on by watching the foster kids I work with unwrap fun wish after fun wish Christmas morning Which has led to self-analyzing. The shallow side would just love something, thing or tattoo,...

Five years ago after my home was devastated by Hurricane Rita and the girl I had been dating for three years broke up with me two weeks before Christmas, I woke up on Christmas morning all alone. I was camping out in the back room of my shop as Rita's destruction was so massive there wasn't any place available to rent and it was bitterly cold outside. I had no family in town after my parents died and all my siblings moved away to other states. At that point, I have to say it was the most alone and forlorned I've ever felt. It would have been just any other day and no big deal if it hadn't been Christmas. So I do understand. Somehow I got through that day and life has moved on. This year I had a pretty good Christmas. I'm back in my house rebuilt after $136,000.00 in damage was repaired. My son now lives with me and I have two roommates that are also my best friends!! This year we cooked a big Christmas dinner, exchanged gifts, and just hung out all day. It was nice, but I'll never forget that lonely Christmas day 5 years ago. Whatever doesn't kill us, makes us stronger.

Don't over (self) analyze. You'll drive yourself nuts. Trust me!

For the past couple of years i spent my christmas with my now ex-girlfrend and step-son. Being without them (or well..without Dylan, don't miss his mom at all) was scary for a bit. The trick for me was not to focus on what I was missing, or would have liked to have had, but on what I do have.

Rule #32: You gotta enjoy the little things.wink

It's a lazy Sunday (for me) morning, and I so very much want someone to bring me breakfast, as I have no food.

I need to get my drivers license (I need someone to teach me dammit!)

Actually very excited to work with the crazy kids on Christmas. Watching these great foster kids tear open wrapping on present after present Christmas morning is so very...

Potato pancakes, but I don't wait around for Hanukkah to eat them, they're good at any time of the year.

Surprisedeeek; seeing those pic's of you on a Bike
one would conclude that you had your license.
Go to Motor Vehical Office and get the Driver License
test handbook, the written part is from that.
For the Road Test; use an Automatic [ one less thing
to worry about wink]. Paralle Parking and Hill Start use to
be the big thing. Remember to look over shoulder and
NOT rely on the mirrors. Best of Luck.
x-mas= Baked Ham, from a local smokehouse. But more so
haveing the extended Family around the table.
Have fun with the kids.
Stay excellent.

Wow, I haven't written for awhile.

But I do have an excuse right now. I'm running around the city frantically trying to find a new apartment while simultaneously packing up my old one and selling as many belongings as possible.

Stressed is me.

Wish me luck with the continued hunt!

Ten days until my birthday! How should I spend it? Any ideas? Or any presents I should self-indulge in? ARRR!!! Hah.

And a mini vacation of a week. Possibly spent in a very non-exciting, luxurious few days of patio bars and books.

Maybe booking a few shoots (because who doesn't love more naked Maddigan?).

Aside from that, it's been a non-adventure of work and whiskey. Not...

Things have gotten much better. They have a magical way of working themselves out every once in awhile

Thanks to everyone for the sweetness and sentiment.

(Although I'm still cranky about having to replace stupid bus pass. Grr.)

Otherwise hooray!

I MISS you! How's life been? I really miss life in SF. I'm gonna come visit when I go on leave (at least try to if I have the money)
I know we were supposed to meet up after I got back from Guam, but I was in a hurry and had to rush to San Diego to get my room.
Love you!!

Bank account was abruptly emptied (by a debt collector for an account I didn't know I had) this afternoon. Leaving me with 0.00 in my bank account.

Then I lost my wallet, with ID, debit card and new bus pas.

Today fails.

mc chris is a kickass performer.

Yesterday was goodness.

What was the account for? A debt collector should not have access to your bank account! You need to change freaking banks and FAST!!! I agree with the identity thing. You need to check this out and get away from that bank!!
