I still exist. Will be functionally joining again shortly. That is all. (Except for needing to whine about the air conditioner still in its box across my bedroom because I'm too apprehensive to install it myself and do not have the moneys to have it professional installed.) Okay. Now that really is all.

I ended up just paying someone to install it out of desperation! I was just worried about it falling out of the window while I was doing it, so... And I'm finally done with grad school!

So many things have changed between my last foray into my blog.

After a long road trip (where I managed to not murder my driving mate; it was close), I've returned to the most amazing city in America. My set-up in Brooklyn affords me amazing architecture and views, quirky bars and coffee shops, and a rich history.

Grad school is awesome, but crazy (right now...

Good that you can balance studying and R&R. *** Just did Taxes, so I'll donate beginning of May.
romanastral:
Grad School? What are you majoring in? I got my degree in History, went for a Master's in Comp Sci, but dropped out as it was pointless as I already had job prospects.

I realize that I'm awful at staying on top of my blogging communication, but I promise that I'm still connected to the wonderful world of SG!

To summarize some exciting changes yet to date: I'm moving (yet again) in August, this time back to my home state of New York, after being accepted to a graduate program in Mental Health Counseling! Yaaayyy being a grown...

Take  the time for Mt. Rushmore, the on going Crazy Horse monument, and The Devils Tower. Yes somewhat out of the way from a due East on I-90, but worth it. ** If still there; there was an office building south of Cleveland Oh. that had an impressive collection of Dali's work. Just east of Gary Indiana is the Dunes National Park. **Have Fun.

Seasons greetings and a better New Year.

Hello lovely people,

Life's been busy as of late (hence the absence!) as I spent app 80 hours taking out my dreadlocks, and am now getting ready to uproot and expatriate to Portland this July!

As this includes major downsizing and tearing apart of my belongings, which is actually an excellent feeling, check out my stuff for sale and help me make it all go...

Stuff is just stuff and is many ways a burden. Keep the things that give you joy! "Letting go" is very liberating. How is Portlandia?

It's been forever (sorry!), but SG has never been far from my thoughts. I may have been lurking, but still here.

One major life change to report: it looks like I'll be moving to Portland this summer!

So, if anyone knows of any jobs or places come August (or just want to hang out), let me know!

Portland Or. way out of my stomping grounds, but if working in conjunction of fine Woodworking tools has an appeal see what Bridge City Tools has to offer. If you have the certifications Waldorf & Montisori Schools might be compatible. Best of luck.

Thats awesome hope everything goes well for you and wish you the best. It would be nice if we could hang out soon 😊

Have a Happy Birthday, have just enough fun that ya don't need to call for bail. Wrong Portland but have fun anyway.

BUT!

In the meantime:

I'll be venturing to Portland in 9 days, to see @Cate and the newest tiny cute thing that she just made.

I'm a tiny ball of sore muscles after sexy gym trainer kicked my ass in class last night.

I'm enmeshed in a Queer as Folk series re-watching flood. Marathon doesn't do it justice.

Stay tuned for your regularly scheduled program...

One in which I lose a lot of family members, in a week.

As much as I'm not fond of depressive ranting blogs following each other, I'm venting, feel free to skip this and head to my older blogs including the fun and the lurid pictures...

On Monday, I start getting calls that my maternal grandmother is MIA from family members. My parents, who refuse...

My condolences on your loss. I decided long ago to cut ties with my family. They are very disfunctional and don't really care about my well being so I decided it was best not to have anything more to do with them. I still think that families are important. I just wish I had a better one. Well anyway, take care and hang in there.
salome:
I'm glad you're getting the law involved. I know that it will be messy and drawn-out, but I'm glad that you'll get the money back and that your family will pay for what they did. That's unimaginably awful.

Is sad emo breakup lady today. I can't decide if I'm rational, or sad, or angry. Gah!
