I have a turquoise betta named Pussywillow. He is in place of Fairy Gay, my old betta who died recently. Pussywillow has taken quite a liking to SG and all its pretty colors....

just a lil tidbit for the day...

I was admitted back into the hospital on Valentine's Day and had emergency surgery on Sunday morning for a spinal fluid leak...I was leaking spinal fluid out of the scar on my back...i also had to battle some staph infections (and still have on hurtful one on my arm)..i got out of the hospital this morning...i will update more later when I am feeling better.

I am feeling much better today....for the first time in weeks I was able to get up and walk around and be upright for 5 hours straight! YAY

I have been started on a new medicine too....it should help out some.

BuffinMuffin is sick with a virus...i need to go tend to her.

So I was in the ER all night.

The area where I had the lumbar puncture was leaking and was giving me a severe "spinal" headache as they call it becasue my cranial pressure was dropping. BuffinMuffin took me the ER where my mother was waiting for me. I got there at 2am and couldnt see well or sit upright and i was extremely nauseous....

Well i went to the Dr today and they looked at me and immediatly saw that my optic nerves were buldging from the back of my retinas becasue of increased cranial pressure....their first diagnoses were:
1: pituitary brain tumor
2: benign intracranial hypertension aka pseudotumor cerebri
3: intracranial hypertension due to my c-spine fusion

They sent me for an MRI...

Ive been worried about my Dr's appt tommorow. My mother called (she was a nurse for 30 years) and told me what she thinks it is...she thinks that my cervical fusion is messed up and is blocking spinal fluid transfer between my spine and my head...I don't know though...my symptoms are odd...My mom is not usually wrong though.
