Off to Cha-ya (sushi) for a quick study break, and gossipy catch-up session with a friend of mine. Can you believe I have lived in the Bay area off and on for about 8 years, and have never been...oh the horror. Strong likelihood of random cell phone photos of sushi to be forthcoming.

I went back to school today for the first time in over two weeks. It felt good to "get back on that horse" or whatever kids are saying these days. I am going to try for two days in a row tomorrow. Wish me luck!!

Anyhow, things with work are going really well, actually. Really well. Not a "real" lawyer, yet, but I'm going to be helping with depositions and the case is getting to some good stuff soon. I'm excited about it.
I was totally going to go to Winter Ball tonight. I even wrote out a study schedule for the weekend, so I could go out and feel relatively guilt free about it. And then, I wake up this morning with a frickin' migraine, which I still have. I am going to take some more Excedrin, and then crawl back into bed.
Oh, man....I was burned out after the first week--I don't know why! I think it's going to be a good semester, though...I'm managed to become un-burned, and am enjoying the class I'm taking, the class I'm TAing, AND the thesis I'm writing. Maybe I'll save the partying for this summer.
Shit, I think in the last few days of talking to people, it has actually dawned on me that I am moving to Paris in 3.5 months. It is kinda freaky. I have a ton of shit to take care of in that amount of time like:
