WHEW!! I had a lot of journals to copy and paste. I can't leave here without my words...they are mine afterall. Without them I might lose a feeling or an experience. Sure, they weren't all great and some downright sucked, but they belong to me and I've learned and grown from each and every one.

I don't want to get...

Ahhh - I'm so glad that you've found contentment, and hopefully other things you were looking for...

You know what? I think it's only going to get get better.

Well lovelies, it's time to cut the cord. Catie's time upon these pages is coming to an end. shocked Yes, shocking, but necessary. Unfortunately my account doesn't expire until December so I might be around periodically to say hello, but that's it. I will make the rounds and say good-bye to everyone properly in the coming weeks.

Much...

Well, I guess it is happening again.

"If I had to choose, I would choose you."

I had no idea what those words meant when said to me almost 2 years ago. It eventually became clear. And it was a big fat lie. She betrayed me.

Why do people find me so easy to betray?

I am in the middle of a brilliant game of...

"Show me how you do that trick
The one that makes me scream" she said
"The one that makes me laugh" she said
And threw her arms around my neck
"Show me how you do it
And I promise you I promise that
I'll run away with you
I'll run away with you"

Spinning on that dizzy edge
I kissed her face and...

I'm exhausted.

The good kind of exhausted; when body and mind have been working hard and the end result is a great feeling of accomplishment. Yeah, it feels good.

My man and I spent the entire afternoon planting 15, 3 gallon hostas and a gorgeous Ben Otaki Japanese Maple. I'm finally making this house a home for my family. Gardening is my stress...

I have a frog farm. I have a ton of tree frogs that live in my lilies under the yard light and come out at night to feast on the bugs that are attracted to the light.

They're cool.

You know, I've never gardened, really, but I've always loved the nursery and plant sections in stores. Something about all that husky organic-ness that richens the air. I think I get high off of all the oxygen...

Yeah, it turns out the grass isn't greener on the other side. Its a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

I should probably add that this time the grass analogy has nothing to do with romantic relationships. I don't want to give anyone the wrong idea. wink

Yeah, 3 days was long enough. we still don't have our lines back up. it is getting kind of ridiculous. But the temp line is working fine so I guess I can't complain too much.

I agree Marty is better off. I expect him to still be a star long after INXS has fired JD and he becomes just a footnote in music history.

speedphreak:
Thank you.

It's not quite 100 here (ok, actually, it's not evern close) but it is pretty warm for the end of September. The leaves haven't even started to change yet.

the_happy_pig:
Hey you. wink How's things?

Photos will of course be posted once I've made the kit. I bought the designs on saturday, now I just need to decipher them! eeek

And I shall certainly be getting more work on my arm during my holiday, I'm going to be staying with my tattooist, so there should be plenty of time. I can't explain how much I'm looking forward to getting some time off. I just wish I was going somewhere further afield than Brighton. But oh well, you gotta grab what you can I suppose.

I hope the weather breaks for you, it's been getting steadily colder here over the past few weeks. Colder and darker.

Great.

Welcome to Caties Nature Page

Yesterday the weather afforded me the opportunity to finally work outside on my much-neglected flowerbeds. With constant 100+ degree-days and an even higher heat index, yesterdays morning rain and cloudy mid 80s afternoon was a HUGE relief. I took full advantage

I wrote a lot in the spring about my love for lilac bushes; yesterday I planted 3. One is...

it is interesting and kind of shaking to have an entirely different mind working, almost. It's just disconcerting at time. Especially interesting are those few seconds when I'm really wondering if what I though happened actually did and find myself sometimes sad and sometimes so happy not to have done what I thought I did.
tangledupinblue:
Well, if you watch the extremely moving action-comedy Bulletproof Monk you realize that you can step on air.

Maybe you are a shaolin?
