Well I've been here for over a year. And what a year. I've been going back through my old journal entries and cut and pasting them. I need a record. I need a record of the ending of my marriage, and I want to save the beginning of another relationship. Funny how things are always an ending and a beginning. But it's time for me...

He calls me in the middle of the day.
For no reason.
Just because.
Just because he likes the sound of my voice.

Last night my thoughts went something like this:

'What is it about Rock that when it's good it's just so ...so....GOOD?'

This thought brought on by a GOOD show by B.R.M.C., was unfortunately followed by:

'Why the fuck does my ex and his new girl friend always have to come and cuddle/stand within 10 feet of me at EVERY damn show?'

So then I'm stuck...

Yes, that whole not ever having met in person thing is a bit of a hindrance, isn't it? For future reference, I look just like my picture, only with glasses. wink

"...barely 21 year old girls who only stopped talking to each other long enough to talk on their cell phones -probably still to each other."

Ha ha ha! Now THAT is funny! tongue

Today is youngest daughter's seventh birthday. I think she had every little kids dream day- getting to go to school two hours late because of snow and then the power went off - so she only had school for two more hours.

I took the girls sledding in the arboretum after the short day. The spring snow reminded me of so much of living on...

Sounds like the perfect school day. smile I hope her day was a magical one.

That sounds so awesome. I'm really starting to think that I want to have a child. I never thought I would. But now when I read something like that, it really makes me feel like I am missing out on something truly special.

ARRRGH!!!! Emails like this from my ex:

I was just looking at the calendar. 1 week for spring break coming up, then a week in the summer, then a week at xmas with the kids. Is that all, I can use my remaining 10 (8 as of today) days out of a year for me? So I guess to re-answer, if Im lucky I will...

Well let's see...searching around on the internet yesterday for why Talcum powder is bad for you (it is very similar to asbestos and causes cancer) I came across a Christian Website - the first couple of lines went something like this:

Masturbation and Pornography:
Just when you thought you had beaten it, it rears it's ugly head again.

So that gave me a good laugh....

Oh, don't get me started on this. Grrrr. Yeah, it is frusterating that these people are so ignorant.

As for the guy, the guy is great. I like the guy. I like the flowers. It is all very good. biggrin

He's coming tomorrow. This guy I love. This guy I never see enough of. This guy I never get enough of. Maybe it's the perfect relationship - never together enough to get boring. Just intense little blocks of time to explore each other, to explode into each other, and lots of time to fantasize about what it would be like if we had the luxury...

Hey girlie! Have a great Valentines Day! Stay warm! kiss
syntax:
Thank you! My birthday had mexican food and margaritas and folks I hadn't seen in 7 years, and was even hangover free the morning after. It was grand.

...And re: one of your earlier entries, I feel your Canadian customs pain. I went and got myself a Vancouverean boyfriend, and apparently having neon colored hair makes me a favorite for secondary screening. wink

Just in case you are still thinking of trying melatonin, I read this today...

"Many people are discouraged from taking melatonin. People with the symptoms of severe mental illness, severe allergies, auto-immune diseases, or immune system cancers such as leukemia should not be taking melatonin."

Although I am not sure how true this statement is, check with your doctor before trying... just in case.

Hope you are doing well. kiss

Well my life has decided to take after the weather cliche of when "it rains it pours". Granted we North Westerners have had what seems like it's going on close to 40 straight days of rain. Pouring, soak to the skin, blustery, mud inducing rain, and there is no sign of an Ark ANYWHERE. How, beside the mildew in my basement and the swamp in...

Of all the qualities that could possily be associated with you, the carrying of lazy procrastinating demons is certainly not among them. As to the ark business, I fear it's too late. Portland is already doomed to float down the Willamette and out to sea. Congratulations my friend.
