don't hate the oilers because a few of their fans are acting like complete asses. (you can't hate the oilers for other reasons) its like soccer hooligans in england. they're good for nothing, and true fans of the sport don't look down on a team because some people that 'support' a squad riot if the win, or lose.
i'd say the majority of them just found a reason to act like morons and don't care.

besides... how can you hate a team that had gretzkey, coffee, messier, fuhr and essa tikannen(sp)?

Holy shit, man. That question was fucked up! I'm not appalled or anything, more like thought-ridden. I read a short story about a boy who got kidnapped for two weeks. The guy was creepy and mean, but at the same time not abusive. At the end, he basically tells the kid "I thought you were the one, but you're not. I'm taking you home." Maybe he got paid $10 million?
