My tattoo has finally healed. I love it. The only problem is, I don't yet recognize it as part of my body. I'll walk into my bathroom, turn on the shower and start to brush my teeth when, somewhere in the process of spitting into the sick or scratching my back, I realize that there's somethine drawn there. Lo and behold, it's my second tattoo--every...

I'll send you some of my mother-tranquilizers. From what I've heard, you need them a wee bit more than I do.
On a lighter note...
Last night I was hunting a mated pair of elite lions in Winterspring with some of my guildmates. We saw over general chat that a fellow player was working on the same quest, so we figured "What the hell? We'll drop him a line."
Narz was a lonely warlock, for all of his fellows were otherwise engaged or preparing for bed--as...

it's very new. as of the day before last. feline seems to be the general consensus. and i am mighty fine with that. at east it isn't impish for once.
maya isn't quite an intimidating as i expected. at first glance, the interface is pretty overwhelming, but most of it seems logical so i'm picking it up rather easily. i've worked with 3dsmax before as well. i must say, maya wins.
maybe i should give AO another chance. maybe. i downloaded the free version they offer. i didn't especially know what i was doing once my ship crash landed or whatever. the area i wanted to go to, the research lab? was only available with the expansion. DAoC is intriguing me. i may give it a shot. as for neocron, i don't know if it is my style of game.

You have it all wrong, my young friend. Living on the fourth floor is four times awesome, because then you can just throw everything out the window and blame it on the three floors below you.
This week I have been yelled at or sternly told which way is up by nearly everyone close to me. Yes, I appreciate their concern. No, I don't want or need to hear it. The best possible thing any of the aforementioned immediates can do for me is to check their tongues: I am very close to shouting each and everyone of them down without...

I'm heading back home this evening. We could talk in the next couple of days if you like. I'll email my phone number if you don't still have it.
Well, it's St.Patrick's Day, I live in Boston, and I'm (technically) half-Irish. I'll give you one guess as to what I'm doing this evening....

Heh. I guess we must be officially old, because we had dinner at 5:30 and were in bed by 9 last night, which would explain why I'm up at 5 writing in your journal. He can force himself back to sleep, the lucky bastard.

Yesterday we picked up the Top 100 Restaurants issue of Seattle Magazine, and I've been to a surprising number of them. All you'd have to do to seem in the know, I guess, is know my boyfriend, which you do.
I didn't get to go to Vermont this weekend. I had the bus schedule, a ride from Springfield, snow in the forecast, and the extreme desire to go; unfortunately, the professor of my Friday morning class decided it would be a fun idea to assign two papers, both due on Monday. Though I am used to living behind the proverbial eight ball on coursework, there...

I've often ranted about the same thing. In fact, I think I recall saying something of the sort to you about Zack. There was no weirdness when you and I went out for coffee, neither one of us nor my boyfriend thought so. More people should be like us.
We've done a whole bunch of nothing out here so far, which is the absolute best kind of vacation. Reading comic books, watching movies, test driving cars just for fun. We're thinking about having a picnic, or maybe going to the zoo. Yesterday we went here, and had the best croissants ever.

A LOT OF RANDOM
I'm going away for the weekend, again. Seeing as how I just got back from the midwest, I would normally decline. This particular excursion involves a log cabin and snowmobiles, both of which are expressly mentioned in my profile at left -- hence, I *must* go. It's also likely to be the last hurrah of the season. Go, snow!

I was always a group of one in college. My groupmates just didn't say anything.

I am both morally and ethically opposed to group projects. My own personal Hell would probably be a never ending group project in Branson, MO. That place is creepy.
I'm in Seattle for the next week, but obviously I have access to the internet. Feel free to email and tell me the story about your sister.

If my college were a person, or even had a tangible avatar, I would kill it. Actually, I would've already killed it, then had it resurrected that I could kill it again, painfully. No double-tap for you, Northeastern, or your professor-henchmen; I would bludgeon you righteously, dual-wielding a wrench and my large, black Maglite in a flurry of thundering blows. Then, I'd build a pyre,...

einstein's dreams came. i am excited to read it. i've heard some very good things. d20 was telling me yesterday that his mother picked up the book as soon as it came out. she read the majority of it in a few hours. when it came down to the final chapter, she stopped because she didn't want the book to end. she wanted it to continue on forever, and so it's never been read. sidenote: she does happen to be a hippie.
once again, thank you so much. i didn't realize you were in the nhs.

i suppose it is a good thing. should i ever be allowed in there. all the same, i am impressed. you're in mostly good company in there.
Good form should compel me to use a few minutes of my time to fill this lovely textbox with some fashion of narrative relating the finer points of my trip to the Twin Cities and Chicago. Fuck good form; I'm tired and I've still much work to do before class tomorrow. I do promise some details soon, though.
Until then....

Actually, NyQuil was the best thing at hand, as there's a motley assortment of narcotics and mood-altering chemicals that would've been my first choice if they immediately availabe.
As for being the only guy on my list...I'm still baffled as how that happened. I do remember that we began swapping comments on a joint literary venture, albeit one that was eaten by an unruly piece of technology.
Going north is something I've pondered before, but I'd have to wait for a complete thaw of the roads and mountain passes before I attempt it. I appreciate the offer though!

Vacation begins tomorrow. How excited am I? Well, I'm dancing right now as only I can, which is badly. My roommates would ask me to stop making a fool of myself, but, as they're both asleep, I'm going to continue doin' my thing while I do laundry.

I called my sister last night to discover that her good friend, my host for spring break in the Twin Cities, is extremely sick. Somehow she managed to contract Lyme's Disease and Mono simultaneously. She's on so many antibiotics that she cannot eat without getting sick, and, as a result, can barely walk or stand from the lack of nutrients. Not good.

A friend of mine once tried to mail me a bottle of my favourite wine from a pub we used to frequent in grad school but the draconian liquor laws of this province made it impossible for him to even purchase a bottle from the pub.
What I'm saying is, I appreciate the thought. Thanks.

Update: I'm in CT until Monday. Have a great weekend, all.
I think Seven Mary Three's "American Standard" album is one of the little, unrecognized gems of ninties American rock. I've been listening to it all day. Their label was wrong to choose "Cumbersome" as the lead single, though. "Water's Edge" and "Headstrong" -- I love Headstrong -- would've been better choices.
