Gettin' back to it right now, in fact. It's a comic script that I'm trying to get into shape to give to an artist friend, to get a proposal together, to go to San Deigo comic con in a couple weeks and pitch to a publisher I know there. And that's a long sentence....

I'll check back in later tonight... yeah, I didn't realize how long that was going to be when I was writing it... I'll be surprised if anyone gets through it. biggrin

Just had my weekend away in Sydney and it was soooo good just to not be at home for a few days!! I love Sydney, would like to live there again one day.

It was also *fantastic* to see my honey again after so long, and i get to see him again in 2 weeks, and 2 weeks after that, and after that... mmm... this...

Its not winter its summer. Duh! Yer so silly.tongue

Ya I'm totally cool...well not totally. But I got so much more of myself out of the deal. I feel like I totally accept myself for who I am whereas I used to beat myself up for being kind of a freak.

Sounds like your doing the interviews right, just getting anxious.

Keep it up smile

Australia is a place that I would love to visit one day!

Is it funny or sad that I am surrounded by people but am craving someone to talk to?
Sad i guess.

So today has been a Tea day. Tea consumption is as follows:
3 x regular english breakfast
2 x Honeycomb tea
1 x Vanilla Tea
1 x Choc Orange Tea
1 x Cookies & Cream Tea

I've seen the ads for these new flavours...

1 to go... yeah baby!

At least when my head is so full of study I don't have time to dwell on anything else - thought and over analysis of the slightest things is the bane of my existance.

I don't even know what bane means!

I can't wait for holidays to start properly, just being able to leave work at work and not having...

It's hard work watching a relationship break up in front of you, especially when there is a kid involved. It's a harsh bittersweet feeling watching my niece playing happily on the floor while her fate is being decided over shouted phone conversations, while the noise level in the house is hushed whenever the words "custody" and "lawyers" are mentioned. The gorgeous baby girl with the...

hmm... i have been slack about my journal. Too much homework to do! Only 2 or 3 weeks of classes left, then exams and it's all over.
I think I have about 6 or 7 pieces of work left to go tho, so it's going to be a pretty hectic few weeks.

Weekend was fun, my girlfriends birthday dinner on Friday night, met some great...

I've discovered over the last few months that it's lucky i'm an adaptable person, and it's really lucky i have the net to vent my frustrations when my adaptations don't quite fit...
I'm living at home with 5 other - no wait 7 other people as of yesterday - and it's kinda hard work at the moment. Thanks to working and studying full time i...

It's funny with my friends I am definately the Father like Jibaili , with my immediate family I am the one who always says his mind no matter what the consequesnces, lots of fun at family picnics. With my wifes family I am the rebel, drink to much, have tattoos refuse to go to church, thinks Hillary clinton is not the second coming of christ.
magni:
I can not relate....It was just me and dad for a long long time.

However with friends I was always the listener.

Being the mediator when you want to start shit...haha...that's kinda evil.

Well...I hope your situation improves.

am utterly obsessed with food ... smile

I'm sitting here eating a Magnum Mini Vice-Cream - Vodka & Cranberry Flavour and it is soooo yum. After the brunch I made mum for mothers day - potato & feta pancakes, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes - I am feeling pretty full.

Food for me is like in that movie Chocolat - it can be such a sensual thing, preparing...

my grandfather cooked completely from memory and improvisation, making these HUGE meals of all kinds of flavors that would somehow... inexplicably... meld together into everything that was comforting and wonderful.

i, however, have only been able to accomplish a few baking techniques... but i know exactly what you mean when you speak of the preparation and total experience of cooking.
illbillzillbub:
welcome!!.....those pancakes sound nice....although i'm thinking about cutting out dairy.
