Well I went to see Transformers last night. I really really wanted to like it. I walked out feeling not so satisfied, and then my wife asked me what I thought. Apparently I thought it sucked, I went on about a 10 minute diatribe about all I found wrong with it.

So far I seem to be in the minority so don't listen to...

Your review reinforces my decision not to see it until DVD...

They've done a good job making the trailers appear for it to look like this year's Independence Day, but then I think NO CAN'T FOOL ME!!!

Do you find yourself getting to that age when you realize it's better NOT to even look at what crappy movies they're making these days, just to keep yourself from getting upset?

I.E. Alvin and the Chipmunks, with Jason Lee as Dave... and the chipmunks as "homies"...
Or the "Underdog" live action film that's coming out soon...

I hear that the Thundercats are even in pre-production these days?

mad + puke

Snarf snarf THIS hollywood.

Your not the only one who hated the transformers movie.. I cant believe I even thought for a second it would be good.
damn.

ps. Sorry for changing your view of blow up dinos after my set... maybe when your son gets older you can tell him all about it, haha

Another week, I'm really happy I am home instead of being in Chicago. My daughter gets baptized this weekend, which is a source of some tension but it will pass.
I had to attend Church yesterday and some sort of pre baptism class, yawn yawn yawn.

I was doing fine just zoning out during mass until the Priest decided to talk about the temptations...

Ah Saturday.

My Mother in law took our son last night to stay at her house so it is Just My wife the baby and I. I can sit back and watch Land of the Dead, drink some coffee and relax. I can't quite remember the last time I was able to do that in my own house.

I get to go to Sunny...

I suppose I should update a little more regularly. I just got home from Dallas, I have to say I'm not a big fan of that city.
Ah well I should be home for the next few weeks before heading to Chicago, a city that I love. It is on my list of places that I would move to.

Otherwise all is good, the...

Ah Montana, my future home if I have anything to say about it. I just love it out here. I miss the hell out of my wife and kids though. I get home on Friday and I cannot wait.

I have not had to travel for over 60 days and I sort of forgot how hard it is sometimes to be away.

Thankfully I am...

Well Christmas is over and I made it out alive. New years will be a very quiet affair this year, No babysitter so my wife and I will be here with a one month old and bottle of Champagne, which is not a bad thing at all. I spent some time at the cottage my family bought this week helping get it all set up...

Become the Unibomber v2.0?

I've often thought about similar things... something about being trapped in cubicles/computer rooms that really makes a little wood-land forest hut VERY attractive, no?

Glad you enjoyed the vacation! I'll soon find out if I'm still employed or not... then I can start saving up for a vacation myself.

People make me ill.

The abdication of personal responsibility has become our national pastime.

people who outright lie in an attempt to cover up the fact they they shirked their duties should just be taken out and shot.
especially when they run up agains a retentive fuck like me that makes sure they can prove and document such lies.

I must agree! Braces on women are HOT, like not much else.

Braces AND glasses?

Hot diggity dog!

I'm sure Elicit will find someone to S&M him... hell, Sacramento (our town) is FULL of freaks looking to snap up a cherry.

Right on, 2 new friends.
Sitting down in Charlotte until Thursday, then I get to be home for 4 nights and 5 days, I can't wait. I am feeling some creeping burnout and I need a break.

I had an outstanding meal last night, I took my Mom out for mothers day (they live not too far away) to a place called Mickey and...

Veal can be in all cuts, just like beef! wink

I found the best veal ever (and sausage, and bacon) while working in Ohio, of all places.

Kroeger Meats

Two brothers still running their father's sausage/meat market, at the Findlay Market, in Cincinnati, OH.

I too, was privy to delicious veal chops (porterhouse like)... though they were just called "chops" I believe.

They mail order... can't remember which day of the week they DO mail order, but if you're feeling flush and want to spent a few $$$ on some of the most gorgeous veal you'll ever have... give them a call!

(Did ya know that Cincinnati used to be refered to as Porkopolis? Yup, it's true. Back in the day, the slaughterhouses used to rule the downtown area... so it wasn't too suprising to discover they've also got the best bacon I've (also) had anywhere, my entire life!)

If you do decide to order some, make sure to specialize what thickness you want them cut. wink
