Obsessions du jour:
1.)I sewed a smile tutu smile monday, sort of on a whim, since I have this ballet clothing fetish. it's sort of silly because I like the clothing more than I actually like ballet. I'll leave it at that since my theories about ballet fall into the verbose catagory. some things I just can't shut up about. Yeah, I took dance history in college....

Tengwar writing kicks ass.

What's that writing in your profile pic? The best I could do was "atimrl elenon". Granted, I really only know the English mode. smile

hi sweetie! ok, you will not believe what i just saw (well, last night) ~ a troupe of college kids wearing caiopera t-shirts and carrying kind of stick looking things. i was so excited! a big bunch of people were leaving this space with sport rooms, so i guess they'd just had a ... show? is it called a show? anyway, i was totally thrilled, and naturally thought of you in all your glorious tall/talentedness. they looked soooo happy - i bet you look like that after too, huh?

read from yr sweet boy that the weekend was kinda wonky, but glad you got to enjoy the package ... er, both of them. wink

on a happier note, I am going to spend the next 2-3 days checking my e-mail repeatedly to see how my priority mail package is coming along...Our doorbell doesn't work either, so I may have to stake out the mail man too....

.....I splurged on new leather wrist and ankle cuffs.... and some other things....

I find a good substitute is a ball gag and caution tape; which when wrapped around the wrists and ankles. Work rather well. you know, if you can't wait that long i mean

pmod is indeed a happy place to live - although it also makes me think of ihop hashbrowns - aren't they something like smashed/scattered/disconnected or such? ok, i've been to ihop like five times, so i could be wrong.

did yr mailman jack yr cool stuff? wink

and, oh my yes, the words - got some really good ones! new things to mumble like a madwoman.

as for the taste of dna ... well, when you spool it, it looks kind of like prepared bean thread -- perhaps with a spicy sauce? biggrin

alright.

fortunately the diahria only lasted friday. [I work in a nursing home]
Unfortunately we were understaffed all weekend, and saterday was up there on the top two worst days at work ever. A resident (patient)accused an aide of physical abuse and the police were called and she was sent home and may very well be fired.

The problem is, the guy that accused her...

Okay, so I got all dressed for work, and made sandwhiches and coffee and soup, and ate the soup and had some coffeee....
....and found myself unable to get off the toilet for quite some time....( I got the shits!-I'm trying to be euphemistic here.) So I finally seemed to stop and I still had enough time to get to work on time-- and I...

If your doubting "The Satan's Pretzel", rest assured it's from a Stripperella episode. wink not really a sexual position... more of a dancer's maneuver involving a pole, contortionist-grade flexibility, and all-out cartoon animation. surreal

(I'm notoriuos for laughing at my own inside jokes.)

Here is a hasty update:
Happy st. Patricks day. disclaimer: although St. Patrick was anti slavery, and a very interesting historical figure, I can't fully endorse his day, since to me it represents the beginning of the catholic/christian invasion.
Here's a poem, atributed to a person called "Gan Anim", which means no name, without name, aka anon. who is said to have lived sometime between...

I've been listening to a CD of Tolkein reading his own stuff. I've always been fascinated with hearing artists read their own work, nut there's another aspect as well- voices from beyond.

When I studied latin in high school, we read Horace, Ovid, Ceasar and various other dead folk's stuff.

I know, they're all dead white guys (though those definitions were not extant they way...

Ah-hah! You have just helped me decide what I will be looking for at the used bookstore on my lunch break. Thanks.

starisea:
Another book to add to my ever growing list. (mmmmmm . . . books.) biggrin

Have you heard Neil Gaiman read his stuff? He has such a lovely storyteller's voice. *sighs* Some authors just have the perfect voices for their stories, ya know?

Thank you for the "feel betters". I always appreciate them. The lovely seaside did wonders for my sniffles and my mood. Yay sea! I even discovered a few of Cthulu's cousins, if you check the pics. Teehee!

If you get that lesbian strip club gig, call me up! I would totally do a dance off with you. wink Dancing is so, so wonderful and sweet. Give me those groovie, groovie beats.

It was Knsna and Radha in my journal. That picture just fills me with joy. Such a vision of love endless and devoted. Sometimes I feel like I'm on that swing, soaring with all the beauty of divinity.

While I was at the beach, I thought of the Issa haiku about the fly when we were having our picnic. It made me smile. How I love sharing such wonderful things with such wonderful people. (You and Welntaod make me glow.)

Do you ever think that education is wasted on the young? There are so many things that I am FINALLY getting. If only I was there with all my past experiences and perspective now. whatever

Teehee! I was so shy when I met Flux. I was all, like, is she going to be creeped out if I say "hi". *giggles* Dune is one of my favorite sets too. Mmmmmm . . . yummy!

kiss
