Aside from Otis getting sicker and sicker from his cancer, things have been okay. He's starting to have bad days, which get me worrying about how close he is to needing to be put to sleep. Just something I'll have to deal with at some point.

I used the Buckeye Bean chili mix. It was good, but I prefer their Chicken & Thyme soup mix, which I made this weekend.

Me too. I just brought some warm sheets up from the dryer and now I just want to curl up in them and go to sleep. They feel so damn good.

We will be out here until about June of next year. Just let me know when you would like to come out first though. I need to see if we are going to have relatives out then or not . And we have a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house, so we could totally put you guys up. You will most likely just have to deal with us having the new baby

Sorry about losing two of your kitties. My Josie had to be put to sleep because of kidney failure in 2006 and Muffin, my closest and most constant companion over the last 14 years, suffered a massive blood clot in his aorta and had to be put to sleep in June. Worst day of my life. So, I'm down to 4 from 6, too. It sucks so much losing them, but I am looking forward to only having two or maybe three dependents someday.
