Been awhile since I have posted anything here but see that Neyrissa is no longer active, they all leave sooner or later. Finally some cool weather has arrived, I love the fall; gives me something to look forword to or is that forward to confused... like warmer weather in the spring. kiss
At my work place someone has made a decision for me; that I should...

LOL about the lesbian. Those that know me well on SG are aware of my interest in the area that I speak about more and more openly lately. No one has told me directly here that they don't approve, even though i'm sure there are those who don't. The person on here who I consider my best friend isn't into it at all and probably has some negative feelings about the lifestyle. Yet, she hasn't wavered in her good feelings and friendship toward me.

I guess people see other things about me that they like. It's god to know that people feel I have a lot to offer.

The strike began on April 1, 1900. Laborers and Drillers were being paid $1.25 and $1.30 per 10 hour day; skilled workers were receiving $1.60. Stone Masons were the first to stop work but they were quickly joined by Teamsters and blacksmiths and soon the entire 700 man workforce was idle. New York Governor Teddy Roosevelt called in the 7th Regiment National Guard - they quickly set up Camp Roosevelt, which consisted of 1500 men and supplies. Pay raises were eventually agreed to, and two years later the 8 hour workday was finally made mandatory.

Back at the first of the year jan 3rd to be exact. I noticed a jeep for sale and I called the owner and negotiated a sale. Since then I lost count of the number of people that have inquired info about this jeep and expressed interest in buying this jeep. Even today someone stopped me asking about this jeep and asking if I wanted...

This person is totally ignoring me. There has been no response to any attempts I've made to make contact. I should stop wasting my valuable time and energy and just let it go. The difficulty I'm having with that is the powerful impact that this person has had on my life over the past almost two years.

An added ingredient has been added to my feelings of hurt. That ingredient is anger. Sometimes pent up anger needs to be released, but in a responsible way. That's what I'm trying to do by posting my latest journal entry and talking about it with my friends on SG.

Happy New Year.

Today In History - October 14, 2008
NEW YORK (AP) Today is Tuesday, Oct. 14, the 288th day of 2008. There are 78 days left in the year.

Today's Highlight in History:

One hundred years ago, on Oct. 14, 1908, the Chicago Cubs won the World Series as they defeated the Detroit Tigers in Game 5, 2-0, at Bennett Park.

On this date:

In 1066,...

I was going to respond to comments on my page at a later time, but I had to follow up on your post as soon as I read it. You had no way of kowing, but your assumption that my daughter was the person on my profile pic put a smile on my face.

While I have two daughters, aged 29 and 33, that's not my daughter on my profile pic. That's Lyrical. She's an SG Hopeful. It's a long story. The short version is that we were friends before either of us joined SG. She urged me to join in February when she posted her first set, which I'm glad I did. The long version is something that a handful of my closest friends on SG know in its entirety. I hope to be able to tell you about it at a later date.

I'm assuming you're either a Dodgers or Astros fan by what you said about our teams meeting in the World Series.

I believe I saw on your profile that you're single. I'm a widower. My wife of almost 32 years passed away in September, 2005.

Hope all is well.

Whoa...an eventful day. blush
