But, I

• got my Japanese drivers' license after 4 tries


• finished the rough draft of my presentation at a big international language teaching conference in Tokyo (and no, I won't get to have any fun, aside from free stuff from publishers and the like)


• I think I'm about as prepared for my classes as ever. I hope it actually turns out to be worth the trouble.

So yeah I guess it wasn't a bad summer. Would've like to have goofed off more, though...
