I've been trying to find a good quote for Easter Sunday.
Here's one I like from the quixotic and obscure Dan Rather:
"Don't taunt the alligator until after you've crossed the creek."
How does this relate to Easter, you might ask?
Actually, I don't have a fucking clue.
Well I see my buddy Ed Schultz was shoved aside from MSNBC.
Like Olbermann before him, these guys just get too full of
themselves and are forced to make the leap to obscurity.
Their hearts are in the right place, no question, but their egos are
just too big.
There's a difference between being loud and clever and being
loud and obnoxious. Loud and obnoxious only belongs on
right-wing media.... O Hi Rush......
But what the fuck do I expect? Not sure.
I've come to notice that the larger the place you live in,
the harder it is to be the coolest man in town.
So I am constantly being forced to downsize. Tough to
find a place smaller than Zablo Hills that has electricity
and running water though.... I mean probably I could
live with that but no internet = no porn = serious issue.
Plus the liquor stores tend to be far away - better give
it some more thought.
My idea of a good vacation is staying in town
while all the people who annoy me leave.
The best way to get rid of goofballs who start hanging
around you in a bar is to lend them money.

Today is that special day that comes only once a year....
Yup - you guessed it - that day between the Ides of March
and St. Patrick's Day.
I always used to wonder what it meant, but now I'm starting
