So I have a table at the local comic convention on Nov 11th. I don't have nearly enough work ready and I'm stressing out about how I should present my work and what I should buy to display it. Blergh. Perhaps 'll post some pics to the art group tomorrow after I get soem work done. Perhaps even the website I've finally started working on.
I started an art blog that I actually update this time. So I'm pretty stoked about that.
Monsters Are People Too
I also joined an artist meetup and they're really awesome. It's become a sort of artist support group, where we each talk about the various struggles we have in our individual pursuits. We each then try to help each other by expressing how we overcame similar hardships.
During our last meeting we decided we were going to have a critique since some of our members were having a hard time finding honest and critical opinions about their work.
I'm also going to have a table at the Albany Comic-con! Super excited for that. I'm going to have to make sure I have enough work to sell and show off so people will buy stuff. and hopefully I can debut the new web comic too.

So I haven't really made much on that declaration about making friends on this site. I'd like to think I would fit into a place like this. I'm not really sure where to start.
I haven't had a new blog post since I started my account. *Sigh* I've never really been very good at making friends on any sort of internet forum. So I'm hesitant to try, but I've had this account for 3 years and it's about time I tried.
So Ig euss I'm going to recap really quick the last three years. Graduated from SUNY Albany with a bachelors in fine arts. Stayed at my crappy college job for an additional two years. Didn't really do much with myself during my paycheck to paycheck days at wal-mart.
After years of being told to learn a practical skill, I've finally decided to really go full speed into my art career. To be active and network and meet new people. It's frightening so hopefully I'll meet nice people who want to help me along this journey that I've put off for so long.

Um.. Hi, my name is Tony. I like to learn new things and experience new stuff. Please suggest music and artists and point out science facts that only geeks like us enjoy. Like that an analysis of mammalian bite force relative to the body size shows that the Tazmanian Devil has the strongest bite of any living mammal.
