Killing time for BloodStorm to be ready for Flogging Molly... This was supposed to be our 1st date, but they sold out. So finally we are going to see them.

Oh, yeah... I got a job!

Two interviews today.

In other news, we got economically stimulated today!

Been a crazy past few weeks. On Tuesday I completed my MCSE:


While I was working on that, DarkPrincess had a bit of an accident while speed skating (not for the faint of heart):

She fell and ended up going head first into the corner of a cinder block wall. To make matters worse for me, I was taking a Microsoft test at the time of the accident, so I didn't even know about it until she was already at Parkland Hospital. She ended up getting 7 stitches in her skull lining, and 23 staples. Not so much as a skull fracture, though. (I always knew she was hard headed) She spent most of this week in bed, but we were able to make it out to the Ironman showing with a few SG folks. She still has a righteous headache, but otherwise is doing well. She gets the staples out today, and should be back at work tomorrow.

So the accident happened Sunday, I had 2 more tests to take on Monday, as well as a job interview on Monday morning. Pretty crazy. I think the interview went well, but I won't know for a couple more weeks. I passed both my tests. I eat stress for breakfast.

Thursday I got a speeding ticket, nothing insane, 53 in a 40... Just not what I wanted to deal with right now... Guess I should have slowed down. Oh, well.

The Stars finished up the Sharks in grand fashioin last night/this morning. Very, very cool. Hope they have something left for the Red Wings. Shutup Jimbo!

Well... Back to the job hunt...

My b-day was awesome. Thanks, so much DarkPrincess! The lake was a bit choppy, but it was still fun just hanging out the 2 of us.

So I got my severence check today (well, deposited into my account), very very nice. Let's just say, I could pay cash for a very nice car, today. The only problem is, it has to last me indefinately. *fingers crossed*

It's my b-day and I'll cry if I want to, cry if I want to...

I don't really want to though.

Not much news on the job front, but I'm not worried... yet. I've got a buddy at Lockheed, they have several openings that look good. I've been trying to get on out there forever. Death and destruction aren't going out of style anytime soon, so I'd feel pretty secure there.

Going out to the lake today, so I can have DarkPrincess all to myself for a few hours! Can't imagine a cooler gift than that!

Jennifer punched a couple new holes in me last night...

Off to see the inlaws today. Should be OK.

I've been laid off for like a week. I'm already bored out of my mind

I'm back, motherfuckers!

It looks like I'm going to have a bit more free time on my hands over the next little bit, so, what the hell.

Since my last post, DarkPrincess and I got married! So far so good, she still hasn't figured out what a loser I am. Let's just keep that between us. Mkay?
