So here is a new post just because. Approximately 1 year and 11 months since the last one. Occasionally a friend stops by, so it's only really polite to have something here when they arrive. Sorry about the recent spate of neglect.
Since the last post there has been one hurricane and one super storm in the neighborhood, a winter nor' easter or two, one for some silly reason given a name--Nemo--go figure on the need for that--some very nasty shootings, the usual crop of global conflicts, and one near earth crossing asteroid as well as an exploding meteor over Russia. All-in-all actually, with the exception of the near earth passing asteroid which was and is an entirely benign visiting neighbor, more eventful than any sane person would want.
If you are reading this and you happen to think of some things that popped up over the past 1 year 11 months that I've left out, then I have accomplished my purpose.
How's that for a nice bit of literary slight of hand?
I'm going to go look at the pictures now. (I seem to recall the spell check here being more reliable--oh, well).
