Dear Friends,

I wish I could write more often but, alas, life gets in the way. Tonight I attend my 10 year high-school reunion. I have no idea what to expect. Perhaps it will be like the reunion in "Grosse Point Blank" (minus the assasins, murder, and 80's music) and everyone will have simply appeared to "swell." Perhaps it will be extremely boring and I'll leave early or love it and stay too late? Anyhoo....I guess the only way to find out is to find out. All I know is that I am (reasonably) happy with my place in the world right now and that is probably the most important feeling to have for an event such as this. However, if anyone has any suggestions or advise they, or it, would be appreciated and gladly accepted for my consideration. I hope all is well with everyone and that you have the wind at your backs, and the sun on your faces for as long as each will hold out.

Ryan kiss biggrin

Oh the Dog Days of Summer are almost over. It makes me sad. But the fall also brings new adventures and new people. I soon continue my edgumakation, uh education, (Grad school for teaching) on Wednesday at a fairly prestigious private college. It is a Christian college, but I won't hold that against them. I hope I don't get kicked-out for my membership with Suicide Girls shocked . Not that I'm ashamed, but you' all know how some people can get. If they did, I'd just go someplace else tongue. "Feel no shame for what you love." Hope everyone else is doing ok. I need to go eat. I'm thinking a nice, juicy cheseburger...mmmmmm

Been away in my own world for awhile but I'm slowly coming back into reality. It will hit me full force when I start grad school. I can't complain too much...food in my stomach, roof over my head, and good friends and family; I've got it better than many. I saw "An Inconvienent Truth" and now I feel like a royal shit for taking a job that requires me to drive for 1 to 1 1/2 hours a day but at least I have a low emissions honda ooo aaa
Anyhoo... need to iron clothes and sleep. I hope everyone else is doing lovely and that things are going fine. And remember this African Proverb: "When you pray, move your feet!"

I really need a vacation. Hell, I'm going be competely honest...I need a good LAY! And will somebody please show or tell me how to change my pictures so that they fit on this page.

That said, I am again very tired, and the only thing I have to look forward to tonight is going to bed. Life, of course, could be much worse but, school is completely draining me.

I hope everyone had a great St. Patty's day and a great weekend. I promise, next time I'll be more upbeat.

Again, as always, up way to late. I'm feeling a little better than last time. Still wondering about the one that I want, but who doesn't? It's kind of silly, considering she is already spoken for, so to speak. I guess my life could be worse; I could be in Iraq carrying an aid bag, trying to stop someone from bleeding to death from gunshot and IED wounds.
Been thinking about my time serving "Uncle Sam" alot lately; I think I will always think alot about it. It was not all bad, I definitely got to see all kinds of cool shit and meet tonnes of cool people. (I really miss the night life in Germany; most clubs in the US pale in comparison...and those cool Germany babes! Don't get me started...)

I know it is the people I miss the most. I also miss the forced exersise. I'm getting pretty scrawny again.
But, I'm trying to bulk up my brain and heart, and have little time to hit the gym.

I am really excited about the "Social Justice Education for Adolescents" class I am taking now. I'm partnered as the supporting facilitator for a girl who is giving a presentation on sexism and heterosexism to a group of students at an alternative high school in may. I'm there, mainly, to be her backup and support and to be an "agent ally;" since men are usually the perpetrators of sexism, I will add credibility to her presentation by backing up what she says and, hopefully, serve as a good example for the boys of a man who does whatever he can not to be sexist.

Later she'll co-facilitate my presentation on ableism (discrimination against people who are alter-abled). I have no idea what I'm going do. But it will definitely involve making the kids think about looking at what people with "disabilities" can do; not focusing and labeling them by what they can not do.

I am so gonna "Stick it to the man..."
