I have two complaints. Well, one is an observation I do not understand, the other is something that relates to the first, but kinda pisses me off a whole lot...
I just took my dog out for his early afternoon constitutional through the park near my house. I do this frequently, several times a day in fact, and every single time I am walking him through the park I always notice people sitting in their cars, running, alongside the park with their windows up, usually. I don't get it! As I'm writing this is is approximately 80 some degrees here in Milwaukee, and about as sunny and clear skied as a day could get. So why the FUCK would you sit in your car NEAR a park and eat your lunch. Guess what is twelve feet away from you? A bench! IN the park! You could shut your car off and sit in the fresh air and eat your sandwich and drink your soda pop! Are you worried you might wrinkle your nice trousers? Or perhaps become disinterested in returning to your desk job? I just don't get it!!!
That by itself doesn't make me angry though, I just don't understand why one would choose to sit in their car mere inches away from open air. Maybe they just really like air conditioning. What makes me angry are the people who do choose to exit their cars, set out a nice blanket in the grass with a picnic basket, and leave their DOGS inside their cars with the windows up!!! Why have a dog, if you don't want him to be outside ever? If he misbehaves, why bring him along and tease him by making him watch you sit outside and enjoy the fresh air? Maybe he's the one that loves air conditioning? I doubt it. Grrrrrrrrr...
Maybe I would understand if I had a car, but I find that unlikely. Maybe I'm the asshole that enjoys being outside and takes his dogs for actual walks and plays with him outdoors that those people in their cars bitch about. That's all.
