Avatar might be the most intellectually insulting movie ever made, but then again I don't get out a lot. And insulting my intelligence isn't incredibly hard.

Mostly I am just sad for my people. I watch while their pockets are being strip-mined in exchange for shiny images and it makes me sad for future generations. Will our children ever know what it is like to...

fucking cat will not leave the keyboard and mouse alone. He's erased 2 posts already. I'm sick of typing so you get bare details now, thank Oscar. Here's my new jukebox, a "Rock-Ola Mystic 478" made in 1978 with a fancy new digital selection/credit display and 3 most popular "hit tracker" display. It doesn't work, but I got it thrown in while trading some old...

loosing my internet connection for a while. Got any advice for cheap, stand-alone internet service?? I need neither a phone nor cable/sat. tv. There's a company called "Clear" that will be offering wi-fi service for $25 a month, but it's not ready in my location yet, phone guy said within two months. Thing is I'm living off selling things online right now so I do...

I heard a fabulous story over Thanksgiving dinner:

My sister in law (fyi -that's my sister's husband's sister, ladeez. No takers on 'ol wheezy yet!) lives in NYC. She has a friend who agreed to dog sit for someone while they went away for a couple weeks. The dog was very old & had been struggling to hang in there for a while now. So...

eeek That's fucking sadlarious! (See what I just did there? I minted a new word, or at least I think I did, maybe someone else has already smooshed "sad" and "hilarious" already...)

SCIENCE COURT!! I like the way you think, son!

Yeah, that's what we guitar amp designer guys call "audiophoolery". Put that one up there with the $1000 wooden volume knob! There was a guy who made a $1500 solid (not stranded) silver guitar cable to go with his $10,000 guitar amp, which was also wired with solid silver wire, chassis milled out of a solid billet of aluminum (turning 95% of that billet into swarf), tea-stained hemp grille cloth, etc. Oddly enough, Mill Hill Audio didn't last very long, hahahahaha!

Check these guys out! www.funklogic.com tongue Sorta like the Calico Auto of audio stuff...

A dope trailer is no place for a kitty.

A friend recently turned me on to this Canadian cable tv show called "Trailer Park Boys." It's 100% awesome comedy, 7 seasons worth. check it out:

you can watch all the episodes here.

I guess there are movies too, but my friend says the recent one is not nearly as good as the show. The...

Nothing new to report, I was sick of the song I posted last blog about a day after posting it. Speaking of sick I've got a nasty cold mad circumstances have kept me from riding the bicycle for a long time now, I was really looking forward to some exercise. I did go to Brianhead (ski resort) on the 17th & 18 for some riding but...

LSUG has been playing this song a lot & I love it. Sorry that the video is about as great as your average credit card commercial, I couldn't find a linkable mp3. Just listen while doing a quick chore or something.

I'm taking a TIG welding class at the community college! I have a few ideas for a future business, like stainless exhausts for weird...
