I haven't left a post in a really long time, but I feel that I need to bitch and rant for a little bit.
I've been a member for a long time, and I'm saddened by the increasing amount of models that seem to have no imagination. I joined because the girls in the early days of the site were individuals. They did their own thing and were proud of it. Now I see so many that just look like every other Hot Topic, mall punk, wanna-be Tank Girl, hipsters.
Being part of a sub-culture means being ahead of everyone else. The mainstream is supposed to steal from us. They are supposed to be doing what we were doing last year. When the cheerleaders at your local college are doing the same shit that you are, it's time to move on. When you see high-school girls dressing like you, realize that it's not because they think you're cool. The ones with no creativity will always need to steal from those who do.
Move forward, don't get stuck in that one point of your life when you thought that you were so different than anyone else. Eventually the lesser will catch up with you.
