Blog 1: Plans, plans and more bloody plans!
Hey everyone, am currently wide-awake at stupid o'clock in the morning. Was supposed to have an early night tonight, but a combination of JD & Coke, SG and emulators has kept me at it all night! I am about to embark on building a gaming cabinate, commonly known as a MAME (Multi Arcade Machine Emulator) but I have chosen to call mine a MA/CE (Multi Arcade/Console Emulator) since thats more accurate! Step 1 is going to be cleaning up my old pc and making sure it works. Then I will be downloading all the relevent software patches and fixes to turn it into a psycho machine (insert evil laughter, thunder, lightning and assorted horror sound effects) Luckily for me, a have many friends who posess special skills, including Joel (programmer extraodinaire) Roxxie (draftswoman/CAD operator and posessor of luscious boobies) and my Dad (sparky and sarcastic git!). With this motley crew, the psycho machine shouldn't take too long to complete.
In other news, I played a gig in a prison last night! That was pretty insane, but the "guests" loved it. Shook hands with a bunch of them and found out they are pretty awesome musicians themselves. Hoping we get invited back again. Still trying to raise funds for recording an album in the new year (one of the singers is doing a sponsored parachute jump!) so fingers crossed some generous person leaves me a winning lottery ticket!
