Don't get too stressed out yet! Have you read up on the statistics for HPV? Most of our population has come in contact with the virus at some point in their lives. I usually goes away on it's own. It's also really common for pap smears to come back with "abnormal" cell growth which they can consider precancerous. Check Yahoo groups to see if they have a group about HPV. I'm assuming that if they have a group about my dog's Cushing's disease they'll have one for that too. That way you can read about other people's experiences and ask questions if you need too. So don't freak out, just do your best to arm yourself with knowledge and it'll be a lot less scary! Congrats on the tattoo, I can't wait to see pictures.
