Who is the lover for this aquarian and why can't I find her? (I am so Aquarian it hurts)

The Age of Aquarius and the futuristic explorations it brings to mind are very much in sync with those of people born under this sign. The Water Bearer is a visionary, caring and giving lover who sees the beauty in friendship and the mutual attainment of...

I wish you luck, my friend. She's out there. Just hope she doesn't freak out when you explain your situation to her. *shudders from mutual understanding*

On vulnerability: You can expose your body, you can expose your mind, you can expose your feelings, but the tenderest exposure of all is your longings.

Doesn't hurt me
You want to feel how it feels?
You want to know, know that it doesn't hurt me?
You want to hear about the deal I'm making?
You, you and me

And if I only could
Make a deal with God
And get him to swap our places
Be running up that hill
Be running up that road
Be running up that building...

Edit: These last two "poems" are in quotes because they're not mine. Indio, Big Hard Sun. I would have thought you people might have recognized that. WhenI figure out how I will attach the you tube version.

Here try this:...

Tonight's the big night. It's not like it's the first time but every time is difficult. That being said, I feel better today. Not so anxious. It helps that other matters are cropping up to keep me busy. As long as my mind is occupied I don't dwell on things. Distraction can be very liberating.

Well don't go modeling your life after mine just yet. After a year and a half of "trying it out" I'm still not sure if the open relationship thing is right for me. But I'm ok with it, and it doesn't bother me much anymore, for what that's worth. I've met the guy she sees and he's alright. I think that helped me the most, actually. I don't have to like him, but I can see he's just a guy, at least.

But still, nothing about it feels normal, I'm just used to it feeling strange.

So, the girlfriend is planning a date with her 'other.' frown What to do when you want an open relationship (so you can enjoy the benefits) but feel so sad at the other's parting? Clearly I have a lot of abandonment issues. Is this how I grow? Are experiences like these the antidotes for naivete, the spring board to growth and sophistication? surreal

Thanks man. Its nice to know that I'm not losing my grip on reality. Then again, how real is reality?

Am I the only one who took a long holiday due to the nasty slowness of this site? Bad enough I waste hours rooting through this detritus (present company notwithstanding).

I want my poetry to spear the reader, piercing them to the very foundation of their soul, ripping them wide open and leaving them gasping for the self image that just evaporated before their eyes.

lol, losing control because you dominate the person you desire to the extent that they can no longer function? I love it when power doubles back on you smile

I think you'll always want them more because the idae of them is never desecrated; the guy you went out with for 6 months will never be as good as the guy you slept with twice and then he had to leave, you stayed in touch but driftted apart because the latter is always a fantasy, the reality of relationships breaks that spelll. then you start to weigh up how much they fulfilled/what they disappointed, if the ratio is lacking then its unsuccessful and you sit dreaming of the one that never broke your illusions. they're my favourites smile when I run out I actually refuse to give in to people I really really like just so I can keep them in that box. masochistic and fun biggrin xx

I can control power. mwah-hahahahaaaa

Flaaaaaaapper!!! God I love climbing. Here's a little rudeness I came up with at lunch. WARNING: I'm serious when I say they are rude. And they are all intended jokingly. NOTE: No real persons were referenced in the making of these poems.

The Guvernment is definitely fun... not sure about trance night... every Saturday they have a guest DJ so I guess it depends on what the DJ likes to spin.

Glad you liked 'em. Happy erotic poetry day to you, too. I think I shall have one of these every year. smile

Naw, the band in T.O. was Under Byen. I'm watching their tour schedule. When they return, BAM, we're there dude. Fo sho.

I spoke with Jeremy and Adam tonight at the gym. Jeremy is willing to help out with the Hood situation any way he can. According to him, there is a third landowner who owns the top of the cliff on the dark side. The situation just got more complicated. Three independant landowners each with differing interests. Fuck this is gonna be a crazy ride. I think I know who built the bridges as well. They became rather defensive when I asked about that. I just did the math. Regardless, Z says he knows so I'll wait to hear his version.
