Recently I was in a stressful place between the hearts of two girls: the one aforementioned in the last blog post, and my best friend. It was a difficult choice deciding between the two, as the choice lacked an obvious selection among the candidates. Both were very photogenic, and had very esteeming personalities. Though it seemed to me that one was more loving and affectionate. As a result I talked with my best friend and told her that she and I should just be friends for now. She was hurt, and so was I. She wanted more in a relationship with me, and I understood that. I mended things between me and her, though realizing that the one girl I chose was expressing feelings for another guy at the same time she expressed feelings for me. It was a total turn-off, and I was glad I knew for sure who I should be with. It was a messy mistake I'll admit, but like that old adage, "love is blind".
I swear I have precognition; as I chose a particular song for my profile page before finding out the one girl was talking to another guy. The lyrics follow: "...and I have reason to believe that I'm not the only one you spend this time with, but I'll stay..." It struck me for a bit, and then I chuckled.
