Between travel and personal life I have been tired for ages.
Those that have never done extensive business travel do not get it.
They look at the destination and not the work.
Bahamas for two weeks.
Customers were idiots and not competent
Time share was nice but never really got an opportunity to relax and dine out
Was located far from tourist area
But despise tourist areas at times as they are full of couples
You feel the pain of singledom in that environment
The kisses, the touches and the looks
You can be happy for them but it makes you miss it all the more
Bad weather on your all too brief off time does not help either
Late nights working means lousy food
Not your bed, not your pillow, not your sheets and not your towels get fatiguing
Evenings of dealing with all the other work email that is coming in
Flights delayed or canceled ruin what should be easy plans
Yeah you can have a good time socializing with others but it is all temporary
Checking out of hotels is a blessing but with another destination between you and home is fatiguing
Nothing like having a Saturday night ruined due to eight hour flight delay
Next was New Orleans and was smack dab in the middle of the French Quarter
Yes a good time but still not as much fun with someone keeping you company
Strip clubs are a bandage with company for hire but the single walk back is always there with an emptier wallet
Yeah I need to work out and revitalize my energy and change my look
Yeah I need to get out more instead of sitting at the computer playing WoW
Yeah I need to try the dating sites once again
Yeah I need some luck
Yeah I need some success
Otherwise the fatigue continues and feeds on itself
