hey man :) I obviously suck at reading my notifications and just saw yours from April on the "solar branding" shoot. This guy that works in Oakland did this other guy ear gauge holes just using various cristal balls + the sun, We spent at least 2 hours in the sun (stopping every 10 to 15 mins) it was cool but way too hot and the guy getting the gauges sounded like it was super painful though he said he enjoyed it and looked pretty happy after it was all done.

thanks! I was totally mystified by the whole process...still looks hella-painful. whatever it takes, I guess.

hahaha yeah. I actually agreed on shooting because of the same reasons, the guy with the crystal ball and concept sounded interesting, they were pretty chill though and supposedly it heals faster (or so they say) :P he explained that the way he does also tattoos with the sun is like scarification but by burning it
