I've never really been one for blogging, but I'll give it a go! If anyone reads it or not is another matter entirely. I guess I don't do it because I'm just boring! All I do is go to work, come home and then go to work again! I am self employed and distribute timber coatings, abrasives and other things that go along with that. Absolutely boring stuff.
I go to concerts when anything comes through this way, although a lot of bands skip Adelaide on the tours Down Under. Other than that I really don't get up to any mischief. Maybe I should try harder. My friend Jacko and I went to see Def Leppard a few weeks ago, and although they get an 'A' for their effort, the crowd was really not into it. I felt sorry for them, but then they are rock stars, so they have a good life. Soundwave Revolution was cancelled the other month and then the Monster Magnet tour, so now there is nothing to look forward to until next year. (I wonder if there are Foo Fighters tickets still available?) The 2012 Soundwave lineup is awesome though and that will make up for the Revolution being cancelled.
I have recently decided to go an a diet and get myself in shape. This is good, and is going well. Only problem with this is I will soon need to buy all new clothes and I have no money! But I will worry about that later.
I read Matthew Reilly's new novel Scarecrow and the Army of Thieves last Sunday. I love Matthew Reilly and this wasn't a let down. Absolutely impossible, but it's a great piece of mindless fun. Now I'm on to Clive Barker's Abarat Book 3: Absolute Midnight. I have been waiting years for this to finally come out.
Just started playing Batman: Arkham City (I even bought the Batarang controller for PS3, just because I am a Batman nut. One of my customers went on holiday to the US and bought me a Batman tshirt back, that is how serious it is!) and this game is totally fantastic.
The new albums from Megadeth (TH1RT3EN) and Steel Panther (Ball's Out) are both awesome, go get them now. The power of metal compels you. \m/
So there we go, one blog down, who knows if I will even be bothered to write another one? I don't! We'll just see how it goes I guess.
