Speaking of crack money, I finally finished the table I've been building for my tattoo artist. I think it came out freaking cool. I didn't want to give it to him at the end. Its my baby and i didn't want to let it fly away. But on the bright side i've got lots of ink coming to me now. Here is a picture time line of the process because i have nothing else to do right now. Lucky you! You can refer to older posts (all 2 of them) for the beginning pieces. I started by super glueing the basic shapes together
Here is the Leg Anatomy
Here is the Leg Tenon
Here is how they have sex
This is all 4 legs attached and standing
Here is the Table after the edge chamfered and 2nd coat of polyurethane
Here is the copper - peg board glue test
Here is the copper top pre-op prep
Here is the cut out template
Lets do the small ones first
Then the big one
Working outside on the final fit
I had to weigh the copper down while glueing it so i stacked anything heavy on it including jugs filled with water
Then to age the copper and give it a unique feel
Finally i had to make a dust free tent for the final clear coat
Here it is at its rightful home
I think the color came out wild
For my next project i'm considering something a little more difficult
