Today is going to be a long one thats for sure. On Fridays i now have to work the afternoon shift instead of graveyard so I get off 630am and have 8 hours to be back at work for another 8 hour shift. Kinda feels like a long swing shift. Can't complain too much though because technically I get 72hours off work while it only counts as 2 days for the pay period haha
So at the hotel I work at a fellow employee put in her 2 week notice. Since she did that the boss took away all her hours for the next 2 weeks and has forced all the other employee's to work overtime, including myself. I don't have a problem with working overtime but not when it screws a fellow employee. I think business's should show more respect and compassion for their employees. Not just kick them to the curb because all of a sudden a situation has changed. They can't control life, why even try??? Life is beautiful and enjoyable without having to stress about work, but so many people do it. Never focus on money, just focus on enjoying yourself, why have a body like ours and not enjoy every sensation, taste, noise, and pleasure you can get from it before your too old to enjoy all of it 
As I am setting up breakfast for a bunch of college students who are visiting this area to go to the Pine Mountain Observatory to, I wonder how nice it would be to get back into stargazing. I use to have a telescope and a map of constellations and would sit outside all night in a blanket looking at the stars (in the area I am in the winter is the best time to get the light from the stars). I wonder if I should go through my old stuff and find it...I don't think I have used my telescope since I got glasses haha.
Tonight after having to remove some kids from the hotel property for going through our ash trays outside I had a funny thought. Homeless people and cigarette smokers have more in common than most people think. They both go through "trash" to find what they want. What's an ash tray but a smokers version of a trash can?
I might be the only person who finds this funny but hey, at least I can make myself have a laugh haha
