So I had a fun couple of days. Seriously fun. I closed on my new place, lease is in my hand. And, I can't wait to move in. And then I went to my friends new Theatre in the Bywater. I laughed so hard my jaw hurts, and I had a beer. I have been dry for some time now, and it was truly a shock. I have no tolerance. Perhaps a good thing, I like being sober.
The only strange thing to happen to me was this. Someone went up to me and said I reminded her of Ron Jeremy. And, I have no idea how to react to that. Should I be offended? The only similarity is that the humidity had my hair gone wild (I later messed further to go for the einstein look).....still, how does one respond to that?
I could have let myself be wicked, but I prefer to be that way when I know people will get my oddly dark sense of humor.
Cut the evening off with a friend who can't decide what to do. He has a M.Sc in Mathematics and is unhappy and doesn't want to continue. He jumps between Law, Econ, Finance, and Math. So I told him to go to work for 1 year, and then think about it. What do you think, any opinions for advice?
He is ignoring mine, and wants to spend 90 large on another M.Sc from Columbia. I'll support him no matter what, he is like a brother to me. Just wish he would take my advice instead.
Here I go again, off to find some little coffee shop open late so I can read this new novel I picked up. Riding with my dark passenger
