makes me sad: how we as a society have taken this turn into being slaves to our things. we try so hard to be trendy and stylish, that we become more like icebergs and less of who we really are. our true self is covered up and the fake object we hate and hardly know is all that people see.

most humbling moment: was walking to class and walked past this guy who i had never seen before. i turn to walk into the building, he looks at me and said in the most delightful voice. wake up sir this is the real world. i have never seen him again. but his words have stuck with me.
