Heat Index was 110F today. Can't say much else.
Heat fried my cells like crispy little taters bubblin in a vat.

I made some awesome blueberry cookies yesterday for a bbq. I also grilled ribs. both were a huge hit.
I gotta figure out how to manufacture tuning pegs for an instrument I'm trying to build right now.
Maybe I'll post some photos of it as it progresses.
Is there an echo in here..?
nope, just me and the crickets.

I just applied to the Pittsburgh group.
I used ta live there ya know?
I miss da Burgh quite much. I miss the lack of articles in sentences.
My lawn needs mowed anyway

today I did not wear well.
Dancing with bottles last night has left a tumult in my head.
the heat and humidity encourages the lazy in me.

what songs I hear echoing when I wake?
the murk of something passing?
another veil. another life.
something leaving me behind.
I feel a vague familiarity with the trailing notes,
loading my morning mood with the sense
that I am displaced.

Such humid summers skunk the energy outa your pores.
All my friends are heading outa here for the summer time. goin to milder climes.
Don't sound too bad.

to whom it may concern: It seems my grammatical eloquence has been steadily deteriorating since i have been a construction worker.

Note on New Orleans:

There is something in the water. Something that generates a general state of fuckin insanity. high levels of mercury maybe? Think "Mad Hatter's Syndrome."
Seriously I think we rival in terms of aggressive stupidity per capita. I have seen the most number of car wrecks with cars flipped over here in three years than in the previous 23yrs of my life.
Still there is something horribly enchanting about this swampy, murky city.

These moths are fluttering all over New Orleans.
Kinda reminds me of something Tom Robbins wrote, but I can't quite place it...
This warm weather after the snow we had a few days ago is inciting all sorts of hormonal havoc across town,
You can almost smell it in the air, but maybe I'm just smelling things.

I love New Orleans. Jazz Fest has me dancing like I got the spirit trying to fly out my nose!
Yesterday I discovered Maque Choux, a spicy creole corn dish of an amazing variety.
