Though it started off a bit rough, with the two suddenly 'out of service' T's and the subsequent cab ride, my weekend was pretty darn good.
I slept in, comfortably, Saturday morning and spent the day outside playing wiffle-ball. Saturday evening, I imbibed quite a bit of alcohol, and spent hours laughing. You guys are all very comfy to be around
In other news, I am still completely enthralled by the Sagas. I am almost finished with Egil's Saga. It is fantastic, but I have to admit it took me a few 're-reads' to fully grasp all of the, social networks, how everyone is connected. Which is understandable I guess, with the density of names, which are often shared by many characters.
"there was a man named Ulf, the son of Bjalfi and of Hallbera, the daughter of Ulf the fearless"
And characters are often introduced with a lot of genealogical information, again lots of icelandic names. I do enjoy it thoroughly
