Bought a grill and trying it out today. Making mahi mahi with grilled asparagas for lunch. For dinner I'm thinking chicken with roasted corn on the cob. sounds delicious to me. I'm trying to enjoy my last weekend of freedom before a month long training op in the mojave desert. Should be a real blast during the heat of the summer.

So, I'm cleaning my apartment and I'm surprised to see how long it's taking and how much time has gone by since I've started. It's not like i'm having a good time, but the hours are melting off the clock. I'm going to still have to make dinner, go to the gym, and get ready for work tomorrow before I even start enjoying the fireworks...

As of yesterday I am officially 27. Happy Birthday to me, but wish it was a little better. I had to do a lot of running around and had to catch up on work. Not the ideal things to do on your b-day. Oh well, there's always next year.

Had a great time at the tattoo convention yesterday. Pin-Ups, tattoo artists, hotrods, it was amazing. Hope whoever else went had a good time. I'm already looking forward to it coming back next year.

Is very excited for today. I get to go home to NY for a week and I get to meet my nephew, then on Sunday I get to be a godfather. It's pretty important stuff going on right now for me. Well, I'll still be in touch but just giving you all a head up in what's going on for me.

More time at the gym. I have to say my stay in the mountains did wonders for me physically.
