gym the other day was great, but I think I overdid it. I started off with a run, maybe 3.5 miles. Then it was the bike for a little while and finished it off with the elliptical. All in all it was an hour and change of cardio. It felt so good to workout in a gym that I decided to repeat the workout in...

Going to start his workout regiment tomorrow. Morning time is running 200m repeats w/ 1 minute rests. Should be a real ass kicker since I haven't worked out in about a month. Going to be weird to work out, in a gym, with other people again. I'm thinking about maybe doing a pullup pyramid too. We'll see how that turns out. Also wanting to get...

Been into the Pescatarian diet myself lately. We should work out sometime. I'll stand on your stomach while you do sit-ups. biggrin

JK of course. I don't really know you like that. wink
psyche:
The Pescatarian diet is basically very similar to the Paleolithic diet, except Pescatarian is a lot healthier since instead of incorporating fatty red meats, all the protein you get is seafood. Oysters, fish, crabs, mussels. Basically lean meats high in omega 3's.

I myself also have started limiting carbs in my diet lately, and I've noticed an immense improvement in energy. Whenever I start eating carbs again, I notice I start getting gastrointestinal problems. Which is kind of funny, cause I was very very skeptical of the low-carb diet for the longest time. I pretty much tried it as an experiment to prove that it doesn't work, and guess what--it did!

is back from my deployment and couldn't be happier. Don't go to Afghanistan, for any reason, at all. That place seriously sucked. No internal pluming, no electricity, no booze, and all the chicks are dressed like ninjas. Anyhow, looking forward to enjoying ALL of the above.

Ok, I feel like a COMPLETE shitbag for not even getting in contact with you at all lately. I have no excuse but I can offer an apology and tell you it had nothing to do with you. I have had a hard time being home and found myself in dire need to just be alone. I hope you are enjoying your visit here in the East and please, please do keep in touch. I promised to be your penpal when you deployed and I will be sticking to my word.

Hope you will still be my friend. kiss

Is going home to NYC on Firday. I'm really excited, can't wait to see my friends and family again. when I get back to sunny california I'll be less than 2 weeks away from my deployment. Afghanistan. I hear it's a nice place this time of year... if there weren't terrorists, IED's, or religious extremeists. There's nothing worng with religion, whatever yours may be, but...

Been doing this diet thing for a while and it's been going really good for me. I've dropped 25 lbs from my diet/exercise binge and I love it. Last night I had a few drinks to celebrate my weight loss and realized that 184lb me can't drink as much as 209lb me. Was an eye opener to say the least and has been hurting from...

Joined a new Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym the other day, sore as hell. I almost forgot how much it works you out. I was trying to show my talent enough to show the instuctor I was ready to go to the advanced classes. It worked, I got 3 stripes in one day, pretty freaking sweet for someone who's been out of practice for almost 8 months....

Back from twentynine palms, and I have to say with all my heart... fuck that place. Miserable is the only word I can use to really describe it. It's hot, it's the area where most of meth is made in america, and there's nothing to do there except maybe hang out at the local home depot. I can't make this shit up. Oh well, I'm...

Well, today is the day. I'll be heading off to the Mojave desert for the next few weeks and I've not really been looking forward to it. Last time I was there and it was said to be cooler then. It was 115 degrees out at the time and it wasn't the worst part of the summer. At least I'll be still working out and...

Bought a grill and trying it out today. Making mahi mahi with grilled asparagas for lunch. For dinner I'm thinking chicken with roasted corn on the cob. sounds delicious to me. I'm trying to enjoy my last weekend of freedom before a month long training op in the mojave desert. Should be a real blast during the heat of the summer.

So, I'm cleaning my apartment and I'm surprised to see how long it's taking and how much time has gone by since I've started. It's not like i'm having a good time, but the hours are melting off the clock. I'm going to still have to make dinner, go to the gym, and get ready for work tomorrow before I even start enjoying the fireworks...
