And I wonder if cats ever outgrow their klutziness. How old is your sister's?
I've read SOME American Vampire. I'm saying "some" because I have no idea how many books there are. I picked up one in my library and it was about two actresses. Any idea what volume that was? It felt like the beginning.
My sister's cat is just under 2 years (same with my Russian Blue Nimue actually but she's a lot more graceful - poised is the right word). Nimue likes to deliberately knock things down from high places just to see how they fall (and break) - Mister just does it accidentally.
There are three volumes of American Vampire at the moment - I'm only about halfway through the first volume and yep the first story arc deals mainly with one of those two actresses who is "used and discarded" by these vampires only to be resurrected by this new breed evolved "American" vampire (hence the title). Obviously the only thing left to do is to take revenge
One of the reasons why I'm really getting into the series are the gothic elements (I've always had a fascination with the Anne Rice/ Bram Stoker depiction of vampires) and also the illustration - Rafael Albuqueque (the head illustrator) is quickly becoming a favourite of mine second behind James Jean (illustrator of the Fables covers).
