heroes: my momma - opinionated, strong, takes-no-shit, and the best damn cook ever; my grandfather - moonshiner, womanizer, lumberjack, cardshark, bagpiper,,, rife with attitude and life

gets me hot: fire, baseboard heaters, forced-air furnaces, sun in July, standing to close to the oven, wearing too many layers

body mods: traditional Maori tattoo on my left forearm done in New Zealand by a 43rd generation tattoo artist.

makes me happy: watching my beautiful wife sleep, a cold beer after a grueling all-day photo session, swiss chocolate, dipping into the fondue cheese while watching mindless TV, Fasnacht dressup, waking up early and going to the bakery.

into: travelling - diving into different cultures, eating weird things, meeting people; photography - all genres but mostly abstract; writing - not great at it, but it releases a lot of built up emotion; music - aggressive music, old blues songs, bluegrass tunes while driving; wearing fishnet stockings under my jeans. ronsumnersphotography.com
