Okay,
So I have been thinking these last few days really about, just growing up... I am currently 20 and living at home, now don't think I am a pansy, just for me it gives me a chance to save some much needed coin, so that I can have things a bit better later in life.
Anyway, I have really been considering about the next few years in my future, now I swear I do not want to be here any longer than when I am 24, but really I don't particularly want to be here now, but hey. I have been thinking of where I would like to live and what kind of a place I would like to be able to call home.
Now, I am a little well... different, when it comes to house designs. I just can't stand the whole four walls approach, well actually maybe I understand it a little too well. I don't want to live in a place like I do now, a little room for everything and nothing open and spacious, nothing that is not clad walling 10 inches thick with plasterboard and neat trimming around every single edge.
The Plan.
Now the plan is this, I have thought about it quite a lot when I have been younger, dreamed about it you could say... but, I always really wanted the McMansion a castle to call my own, but seriously, Fuck that! I can't stand the thought of it all a sudden, so, I have been thinking what do I really want... and that is a bed room a study and a place to keep all my computer gear, then a place for a lounge room, bar, my drum kit, and anything else that takes my fancy.
So, what I am thinking is basically, well, imagine this; a warehouse, a big I mean really big warehouse, say 30 by 20 meters and like 10 meters high! Now, that's what I want, OPEN SPACE!
I am really thinking just by a big ole' warehouse in an established industrial estate, clear it out clean it up but keep it original, then just build at one end, a computer room with a study next door and on top of those a open deck with my lounge and TV and double door going into my bedroom next door. Now, that's it, really that's IT.
Imagine the space, I could have a bar, a bit of a stage, pool table... everything down in the main room of the ware house. It would be fantastic! So, now I have to get my shit in order, I can't get the idea out of my mind, I need a place to call my own and place where me and my friends can chill out and place I can make intimate with my future partner, that's what I need.
It looks like for me I am going to have to take it further but that's all for now, I will attach some pictures I have found of other people's creations that are similar (but from what I have noticed a little, Over-Done...)
Anyway, enjoy people, I just wanted to put the idea out there and see what people think...

So, I just joined the site last night and already the response of people has been overwhelming. I love this place, the people really make you fit in and not to mention I mean lets be frank here there is some damn nice ass about the place.
Anyway, so far SG has proven to be the site that I really wanted to sign up to, and mind you the first I have signed up to.
