Well, so here I am, sitting in my office and trying to wrap my head around the Barbie Death Camp installation from last year's Burning Man. The problem is obviously one of intention, but comes from the fact that the installation works with symbols that are so loaded with significance. Can we use the Holocaust in parodic terms, is this a permissible act? It is obviously legal, but how should we understand an interpret? Are re-makes or re-invocations of such things useful in artistic terms?

Questions, questions that need answering. Hope I have some answers.
