It’s been a minute since some blog homework so here we go.. this one is complicated I think. The question is what made you get comfortable with your body?
The thing is, you obviously have to have a comfortable enough relationship with your body to enjoy taking naked photos to begin with BUT that doesn’t mean you’re always comfortable with all of it. I think being comfortable with my body is just accepting that it is the body I have and it changes over time. It does things I can laugh at and hate but it also can make me happy and give me confidence too.
I am comfortable in knowing that a bad picture or a bad angle or goofy face isn’t how I look all the time and a camera or editing can change things up too. In a good or bad way. It’s a journey and I have times where I’m like hey this is my body and this is who I am and I am comfortable with that, and also still days where I wish I was able to change things about my body but I also just accept that I am where I am in my life! I was very obsessed in the past with trying to be the skinniest version of myself for years and it was so hard because I judged myself way harder and made myself work as hard as I possibly could to be smaller. I liked the way I looked as a smaller person too of course but time, health concerns, medications, and just a general love of sugar and carbs ( lol) keep me about where I have been for a while. A lovely midsize curvy babe. I dig having the big boobs to go along with it haha. I accept myself for who I am, who I was, and who I’ll be! I love being able to see confidence in certain sets and seeing how my body changes through the years.
Speaking of that, my upcoming set that goes live in 2 weeks and 2 days is one where I feel like I really embraced myself and love how I look in it! @alissa always brings that out in me and besides just having fun shooting, she’s a great friend who I love to get together with when we can! it’s called Atrium. It’s exciting that this set goes live right when I will be going on a magical trip to Catcon in Pasadena again this year. Perfect timing!
This was a long one so thanks for making it this far!! Xoxo Starphire
