Watched "Amelie" last night, not bad. Very charming. Great contrast to "The Passion of The Christ" which I also watched. I do credit Mel Gibson with that movie. It is very well made. The pieta scene and the scenes depicting the reprecussions of Jesus' death are masterful.

Satan as a woman (in the "Passion"), so elegant on many levels. I dunno if it's the best ever, but it's definitely quality and innovative. Vigo Mortensen was a hauntingly good Lucifer in the original "Prophecy." Viggo would be good at anything though. I didn't like Al Pacino's take on the devil in the picture he did with Keanu, I thought it was too contemporary. Not enough Old Testament evil. David Lynch seems to have a hotline to evil in his work. Not the overarching Darth Vader evil but the subtle, buried small town evils that live next door and are just out of focus across the lunch counter. Possibly the most in-your-face and penetrative evil/devil in cinema is Linda Blair's character in "the Excorist." Name a taboo not touched on in the uncut version of that movie, I dareya.

Gina Carrano won again, I had no doubts. Anybody know where I can get a Gina T-Shirt?

UFC had better get it's arse in gear. Female MMA is going to be just as big as men's in 5-7 years.

I thought Kimbo showed a lot of grace after his fight, he's building his empire one fight at a time. That man is nobody's fool and another UFC missed opportunity. Why hasn't anyone asked him to be B.A. in the A-TEAM movie?

Hey Palin, I stayed in the same hotel as the Dalai Lama once, does that make me an insurgent?

You gotta be kidding me with this woman. I'm seeing the next movie Matt Damon makes 15 times.
