Why do some girls think the way to get me into bed is to attack my fiancee while they give me compliments? Jesus, if they knew us that well, they'd give us both compliments, and probably find themselves in our bed together

On Saturday I gigged with my new (old) 1978 Marshall JMP 2104 amplifier ... used my 1989 Gibson Les Paul Standard with JB and 59 pickups

IMMENSE! The tone was just so good. We had it mic'd up ... the engineer basically wanted us to crank the shit out of the amps ... I had it on between 7 and 8 on both master and pre, and it was such an incredible sound. I've never had that kind of tone before. It was monstrous.

Levels were perfect ... the crowd loved it and we got so many great reactions ... our set lasted 1 hour 45 and the crowd were screaming for more.

Just makes me wish I wrote most of those songs. You know, we pulled a cheesy one at the end but ripping out Sweet Child O Mine but we actually do a pretty great version so I don't feel too bad The crowd almost blew my ears out when I opened the tune with those famous notes ... it went down really well.

This JMP is hands down the amp of my dreams. I've had lots of Marshalls, and played even more. But this ... just ... can't even explain how much I love this amp!

I will NEVER get rid of it ...
