Some updates...

I'm 19!
I'm in a very weird limbo with Amanda girl. She's all worried about her ex and not really ready to date? Or something? I guess I don't have much experience with this and it sucks to be on this end. I know things could go really well between us so I'm trying not to let it get to me too much, but 'tis tough.

I might get a job at Atlantis Fantasyworld... that's the comic store that Corey Feldman works at in The Lost Boys (which was filmed in Santa Cruz, duhhh). That would totally be sweet/my dream job/I will get to hang out with comics dorks ALL FREAKING DAY. It will also give me more to update my blog about. Ahhhh yeah.

I'm also starting a comic book library at UCSC. Check out comicslibrary.org and you people should all donate your comic books to the cause. Support the comics lovvvve.

Some things... Ruji and I broke up. Re-entering girlfriendland with a gal named Amanda. She wants to come raving, and go to burningman, and she plays Magic cards.. and is generally awesome.

Also: I AM GOING TO BURNINGMAN THIS YEAR! THANKYOUVERYMUCH!!! so excited.

Back in Marin for the winter break. Last quarter went quite well; I'm just waiting on grades. Next quarter I'm set for Intro Photo, Intro Drawing, and Technothrillers, a class about technological paranoia and technophila - right up my ally! I'm very excited.

I just want to read and watch movies and draw and take pictures and.. make ART.

Obviously I'm... busy busy busy.

Have a cute cute wonderful lovely girlfriend, now. She draws. She does comics. She is awesome. She's a Junior and that's slightly intimidating, wee freshman that I am. Whatever, I can handle it..! Heheh.

Been keeping the comics blog updated, been drawing, been doing overall amazingly well. I love it here.

So I've moved into Santa Cruz and am really enjoying it. Busy all the time... I've been neglecting the ol' blog. Le sigh.

Tired. Tired. Yes.

I've been sick for the past few days. Who gets sick in summer? Ugh. I think I shared a drink or something with the wrong people a couple nights ago. That'll teach me to party on a Wednesday. Bleh.

Most of my friends are off in college because UCSC starts so damn late, and therefore I've been spending lots of time with my friends from the class below me (they can't stay out late because... awww.. high school) or with people a bit older than myself (22-28) who are very happily situated at the moment, and aren't leaving for anywhere. My relationships are all a bit stretched and stressed because everyone knows I'm leaving in 2 and a half weeks. Le sigh. I'm ready to get out of here.

The relationship with the older girl is just silly. She's ADD and likes to surround herself with too many strong personalities, which just ends up clouding everything. I really enjoy spending time with her one on one but it so rarely happens that it just doesn't seem to be worth it. Meh.

And we're live in 5, 4, 3...

So all of a sudden I've dated 22 yr old girl who divorced her husband 3 weeks ago on the grounds that she doesn't like boys anymore.... woah.

Seeing as I'm fresh outta high school and have never really dated off that scene, I'm a little floored.

I got a raise! Yeehaw. I'm now getting $15/hr... hey man, it's not bad for a summer-job-just-out-of-high-school. Man, if it ain't easy as shit, too.

My laptop is drawing sooo nearrrrr.... soon I will be updating from it!

I've been working on www.gumpop.com, trying to get it ready for an actual launch. Isotopecomics.com linked me which was neat.
