Just got back from a fantastic trip on my motorcycle. From Long Island, to Milwaukee and back. The Harley Museum is awesome, the restaurant there was some of the best food I have ever had = ) Only downside of the trip was having to come back to NY after being reminded yet again of how much I love being out of the tri-state area lol. I got some fresh ink in Michigan on the way home. I'll post some pics soon = )

Friday night, June 4th...Metal Days, the craziest 80's hair band tribute in town will be playing at Ollie's Point in Amityville from 9-midnight. Check out www.metaldays.com or find Metal Days on Facebook for further details.
More importantly, on Sunday June 6th, my band The Mercs will be playing a benefit show honoring the memory of 11 year old Courtney Sipes at Napper Tandy's in Smithtown. Courtney was killed right in front of the venue on her way to her guitar lesson by a hit and run driver. The driver was later found and discovered to be strung out on heroin at the time of the accident, making this tragedy even harder to stomach.

There will be several bands playing throughout the day. The event is inside Napper Tandy's during Smithtown Day.
The Mercs go on at 1pm.

There are many many many days that I hate my job, fortunately however, there are days like today. I'm certainly not going to say days like today make it all worth it, but I can say that it at least lets me know that there is a reason that I tolerate it.
