Someone beautiful gave me 3 months for this site. I wish I knew who it was... I'd thank them with praise, food, and kinship that they probably would not find elsewhere.
What have I been up to the last few years? Been a long few years, that's for sure. Moved to Chicago in 2007 and back to Louisville (hometown), KY at the end of 2009. It was a whirlwind of moments that were to short and days that would never end. So it goes.
So what the flip is going on with the world? Its a beautiful, chaotic spiral of comedy, horror, and drama... the perfect ingredients for any real-world entertainment one could find. Who needs Michael Bay in 2010? While science pursues singularity, the politicians seize power, the rest of the civilian peons delve into their respective vices, practically diving head-first into sedation. I'm not sure this is our best option but smoking, fucking, drinking, and even religion feel pretty good though, don't they? Personally, I find my relief through interwebbing through cyberspace. I found this terrifying short story through stumbleupon that practically validated a lot of my spiritual suspicions of yesteryear and today. It was called "The Egg" and to paraphrase, it was a snapshot of one man that died and met "God" in the nothingness of after-life. Their conversation led to the revelation of answers to the timeless "why are we here?" thoughts that we bury every day in order to get through our respective jobs, classes, or nothings. I'll send a link to whoever stumbles upon this blog and is interested in reading it.
I'm pretty exhausted. I suck at writing when I'm exhausted (not that I'm any good when I'm refreshed either). Two days of double shifts at work is enough to put me away for the rest of the week. Luckily I get to go to class tomorrow morning followed by, YES, another shift at work in the afternoon.
Just acquired Towering Above the Rest 24-disc version. MMM... Tastes good. Really into these remixes.
The end for now. Friend me if you're interested!
