So I managed to get over this throat thing I had going on in about five days.

Never underestimate the power of tea, specifically Yogi Tea's "Winter Relief."

Finally made it onto days. It's actually not all that bad. I've been trying to find out exactly how little sleep I can still function on. Looks like I can do pretty well on 5.5-6 hours.

Woo-hoo! I've been accepted to the UMass, Boston green chemistry PhD program!

I don't know when, exactly, I'll be starting, but it's most likely going to be in the Fall. Off to Boston with me. Yay!

Not hearing on stuff you want to hear about bites... just for the record.

In the good news category, I have a firm date for when I leave the world of the vampires and move to a "normal" schedule.

Yesterday morning my grandmother died. It's not like this wasn't expected as she was 93 and had been in poor health recently.

Working weekends sucks.

Of course then again, working nights sucks as well, so I guess I should be used to work equalling suck by now.

They had said they were going to move me over to a day shift position, but that hasn't happened yet. We had staffing issues which necessitated keeping me on 3rd for the time being.
